What do you need?

Get a coil fitted

We fit copper coils (IUD), which have no hormones and last 5 to 10 years, and hormonal coils (IUS), which last 3 to 8 years depending on the type.

Hormonal coils can also help with heavy periods.

Have a coil removed or replaced

We can remove your coil, or remove it and fit a new one in the same appointment. It does not matter where your coil was first fitted.

On the form, we'll ask which coil you have, roughly when it was fitted and why you want it removed. If you're not sure, that's fine.

Get a contraceptive implant fitted

The implant is a small flexible rod placed under the skin of your upper arm. It lasts for 3 years and you do not have to remember to take anything.
